Welcome to First Baptist Church of Crofton, Maryland. Our purpose is to build a Christian community which daily touches people for Christ. We hope you will find our Web site informative and inspirational. We are a church open to everyone. Our shared ministry is built on three pillars, relationships, abilities and passion. In our relationships, we encourage communication and accountability to one another and God. The verse which best expresses our purpose says, "Beloved, let us love one another because love is from God." ( I John 4:7) With our abilities, we are committed to life-long learning. The Bible reminds us to think, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13) Our passion to is bring a spirit of reconciliation into people's lives. Many of us have experienced severe problems in our own lives. We think people need to be reconciled to God and each other.
Our church is open to all people
Whether you're seeking God, curious about our fellowship, or attend our worship regularly, there's something for you here. Our church exists to minister to the real needs of people with the authentic love of Jesus Christ! We invite you to experience the genuine worship, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of our community. We hope you will come to worship study and celebrate with us often. And, if you do not have a church home, we would be honored to have you consider becoming a part of our fellowship.
